Japan is my home country. I was born and raised in Yokohama, just south of Tokyo. In 1982, I came to the U.S. as an aspiring student and never went back to live. While at college, I started working as a translator as well as production coordinator for Japanese television networks, which became my career. In 2000, I naturalized to be a U.S. citizen. Even though I legally became American, as I get older I appreciate the Japanese culture and some traditions in ways that I never did before.
This site is about what I professionally offer as a Japanese-turned-American individual utilizing my passion for art, language skills, knowledge and understanding of Japanese culture, and all my resources I have acquired along the way. Please see some of the photographs in the photography section.
Welcome to my own private Japan.
